本研究旨在探討資訊科技的分類架構,並以此分類架構提供資訊
科技相關科系課程規劃之參考。
本研究係從「功能」觀點,運用分類學之方法建構六個層級22項
類目之資訊科技分類架構,主要研究發現有下:
一、技術層面定義之資訊科技目的在解決人類對資訊處理與傳播的需
求。
二、資訊科技的範圍可建立在資訊科技的「投入要素」、「發展歷程
」與「技術領域上」。
三、資訊科技的技術領域主要包含次級系統為「資訊的處理系統」與
「資訊的傳播系統」。
四、依「功能」模式所建立科技分類架構六層層級為:「系統層」、
「運作層」、「整體功能層」、「細部功能層」、「整合功能層
」、「元件層」與「設備/技術層」。

The purpose of this study was to identify and construct
the information technology and to attain the rules and
principles for establishing this taxonomy.
The findings were indictated as following:
1.The definition of information technology could be ident-
ified as:To solove the Human-needs of information pro-
cessing and communication.
2.Information technology could be analyzed as :basic input
elements,development phases and Process techniques.
3.The rules of establishing information technology taxonomy
were based on "functional objective".
4.The taxonomy of information technology was classified by
6 levels:system,process,macro function,micro function,
element and technique/device.
