摘 要
本研究旨在瞭解台中市高中職一年級學生數學焦慮與數學自我效能的現況,以及探討數學焦慮、數學自我效能與數學學業成就三者之間的結構關係。研究中選取學校性質、性別、國中學測數學成績、複習功課時間、家長教育程度作為學生的個人背景變項。
本研究採用問卷調查法,研究者以台中市公、私立高中職一年級學生為研究對象,叢集隨機抽樣抽選683位學生進行資料的蒐集,計收回有效問卷639份,有效回收率為93.56﹪。所使用的研究工具為「高中職學生數學學習經驗問卷」,內容包括數學焦慮量表、數學自我效能量表。
本研究結果發現:(1)台中市高中職一年級學生中6.57%有高數學焦慮;不同學校性質、性別、國中學測數學成績、平均每天複習時間的學生,其總數學焦慮有顯著差異。(2)台中市高中職一年級學生中13.30%有高自我效能;不同學校性質、性別、國中學測數學成績、平均每天複習時間的學生,其總數學自我效能有顯著差異。(3)數學焦慮與數學自我效能間具有顯著負相關,學生的數學焦慮程度愈高,其數學自我效能愈低。而學生的數學焦慮程度愈高,其數學學業成就愈低。學生的數學自我效能愈高,其數學學業成就則愈高。(4)本研究所提出「台中市高中職一年級學生數學焦慮、數學自我效能與數學學業成就的結構關係模式」與實際觀察資料之間的適配度不佳,分別經模式修正後,所得之修正模式適配度雖有改善,但仍未達到可被接受的適配標準。結果中「數學焦慮」對「數學學業成就」具有顯著負向直接效果;「數學學習態度」、「數學能力知覺」分別對「數學學業成就」具有顯著正向直接效果;「數學焦慮」分別與「數學學習態度」、「數學能力知覺」間存在顯著負相關。最後,根據研究結果提出討論與建議。
