After 20 years of vacuum of professional basketball league in Taiwan sports world in summer of 2020, a Genuine professional league was formed. It is called Taiwan Professional Basketball League, as known as Plus League or PLG. The Initial objective are in 4 folds:

    2. To establish a playground to cultivate local talents.
    3. To make professional basketball a national pastime, like NBA.
    4. To generate sounding revenue for each member club.

In the year of 2020, the P. LEAGUE+(PLG Taiwan Professional Basketball League), which emphasizes "twenty years of sharpening a sword", has revived. The "Taiwan Professional Basketball League". The purpose is to help Taiwan's previous teams in the Southeast Asian Basketball League(ABL) to find a way out and a stage under the situation of the epidemic blockade, and then embrace bigger ideals. , vision and mission hope to promote the revival of professional basketball in Taiwan, and in order to differentiate the existing Super Basketball League(SBL), the "Taiwan Professional Basketball League" has finally came into being.

This study uses the theory of innovation diffusion to understand how Taiwan's basketball environment can create a professional basketball league.
