本研究試著利用網路技術,以學習社群為理念,以職前、實習及在職教師為社群對象,以班級經營知識為學習內容,建置班級經營網路(Classroom Management Network, CMNet)。CMNet係針對職前教師和在職教師的班級經營知能,以兩階段漸進的經營方式,建立一個可供教師討論、分享及反省的網路環境。本研究的具體目的是:(1)在網路上建置以班級經營知識為主的學習社群;(2)解決班級經營困擾來源中教師溝通管道不足的問題;(3)利用資源、案例及討論策略,嘗試建立班級經營的知識庫;(4)了解以CMNet輔助職前及在職教師的班級經營知能建構的成效;(5)提出設計班級經營網站的較理想系統架構及功能。
研究分兩階段,第一階段採用輔助教課的方式,由修課學生與授課老師組成封閉的學習社群,樣本為台灣師範大學開授班級經營課的兩位教授及包含職前及在職進修教師的修課學生,依任課教授的需求將CMNet融入課程教學,並安排學生進行瀏覽資源、繳交作業及主題討論等學習活動;第二階段除了輔助教課外,並將CMNet開放,使CMNet變成開放的學習社群,透過網路散播吸引成員至CMNet,讓分散台灣各地的教師能共同參與CMNet,社群採資源式、案例式及討論式的策略經營,隨後並以電子報方式主動將訊息發送給訂閱者。
研究結果,第一階段顯示(1)職前及在職進修教師們皆認為CMNet能幫助班級經營知能的成長;(2)討論區使用情形與授課教授的經營策略有關,而評量成績則是一種有效的策略;(3)透過輔助教課的學習社群可建立班級經營的知識庫;(4)須適度的修改系統環境與網站內容。第二階段的觀察樣本排除輔助教課部分,只以一般社群成員為對象,結果顯示(1)成員的討論氣氛不佳,CMNet只扮演資源提供者的角色,沒有達到交流的目的;(2)成員主要目的是獲取資源,大部分是社群的沈默觀察者,未能提出自己的觀點或經驗;(3)資源策略有效,但討論策略則需修改。
故研究建議,雖然CMNet有潛力解決教師溝通管道不足的問題,但是必須持續增強系統功能及網站內容,並採取更有效的經營策略,以滿足形成學習社群的需求。
