本研究旨在探討線上遊戲女性玩家自我認同與其在遊戲中的角色塑造行為及其兩者間的關聯性。以問卷調查法,針對生理女性玩家進行研究,共回收513份有效問卷,進行資料分析。再以敘述性統計、單因子變異數分析、皮爾森相關分析等統計方式進行分析比對。最後,根據研究所得之結論,補足相關研究,期望能提供線上遊戲業者與設計者在角色塑造元素上的參考建議。茲將本研究重要發現分述如下:
一、不同年齡之女性玩家在社會認同上有顯著差異;不同教育程度之女性玩家在外在認同與社會認同有顯著差異;不同年齡與不同遊玩資歷之女性玩家在外在塑造上有顯著差異。
二、「社會認同」與「塑造女性角色」有正相關。
三、「認同自身性別」與「內在塑造」有正相關。
四、「社會認同」與「內在塑造」、「社會塑造」有高度正相關。
The purpose of this study is to explore the correlation of self-identity and characterization of female players in Massively Multiplayer Online Games. Through the questionnaires, a total of 513 valid questionnaires were recovered. The collected data were analyzed by statistical methods, as Descriptive Statistics, One-Way ANOVA and Pearson’s correlation coefficient.
In the end, based on the conclusion, this study makes some concrete suggestions to the operators of Massively Multiplayer Online Games and further study. The major findings are as follows :
1.Between the different ages of users, the “social identity” is significantly difference ; Between the different education level of users, the “outer identity” and “social identity” are significantly difference; Between the different ages and Online Games’ qualifications of users, the “outer characterization” is significantly difference.
2.“Social identity” had a significant correlation for “create female character”.
3.“Agree with gender” had a significant correlation for “inner characterization”.
4.“Social identity” had a significant correlation for “inner characterization” and “social characterization”.
