法蘭茲．李斯特(Franz Liszt, 1811-1886)是19世紀最著名的音樂家之一，他不但集鋼琴家、音樂教育家、與作曲家於一身，更在指揮與音樂評文上有所成就。在作曲方面，李斯特最重要的貢獻在於開創了「交響詩」的形式。這種標題音樂的新體材不但承襲了白遼士(H. Berlioz)等前人的主導動機(idée-fixe)，將其發展為主題變形手法，也影響了後世許多作曲家，為西方音樂史點亮了一盞明燈。
本論文將聚焦在李斯特最為著名的交響詩《前奏曲》上，以對作曲家生平的背景研究與樂曲在結構、主題變形、和聲、配器法等方面的分析為論點，進而提出研究者在指揮詮釋上的選擇；以及在排練和演出過程中，對指揮與樂團關係的看法。另外，本論文也將分享研究者於2017年9月赴匈牙利與芬蘭指揮家帕努拉(Jorma Panula)學習的成果。

One of the most famous musicians during the 19th Century is Franz Liszt. He was a legendary pianist, musical educator and composer. Furthermore, he was expert in conducting and a writer. This thesis will focus on the composer aspect of Liszt, and dicuss with his great contribution, the symphonic poem “Les Préludes”. In this piece, Liszt inherited the “Idée-fixe” of Hector Berlioz, and developed it into a “thematic transformation” technique. With his thirteen symphonic poems, he successfully influenced many composers.
This thesis will analyze Les Préludes from five aspects: the background of Liszt’s life and the piece, the structure, the thematic transformation, the harmony and the orchstration of Les Préludes. According to this analysis, the researcher will present his view of the conducting interpretation. In addition, this thesis will share the experience of the researcher’s participation of the conducting masterclass of the Finnish maestro Jorma Panula in 2017.
