本研究利用具有超順磁性磁性奈米粒子,應用在基因轉殖上,期能發展出比現行基因轉殖方法更有效率的轉殖方式。
參考傳統使用正電荷微脂粒(Liposome)達成基因轉殖方法,為利用基因本身為負電性,而使用帶有正電荷的Liposome,藉由正負電荷間的吸引使兩者成為一個複合體。而本實驗則設計加入磁性粒子,將磁性粒子與基因藉由正電荷Liposome的包裹形成一複合體,並在外加磁場吸引下,快速通過細胞膜進入到細胞核,達到基因轉殖的目的。相對於傳統上使用正電荷Liposome,是靠著與細胞膜表面的負電荷相吸引黏著在細胞表面,再藉由細胞胞飲作用來將基因帶入細胞。使用本實驗室的方法與之相較,則有轉殖過程速度快,與帶入的基因量大的優點,此可由初步的實驗成果證明之。
