文化是少數難以定義的概念，文化之所以能實踐乃因於再現。博物館為當時社會之鏡，其文化再現和時代背景、意識形態具錯綜複雜之關係。本研究旨在探究博物館如何經由特展再現原住民文化。為達研究目的，以個案研究的方式，選取順益台灣原住民博物館之與部落結合特展為研究個案，以多元資料蒐集之方式，訪談、文件分析與觀察法，並以詮釋現象學為理論視角，採融入/結晶化分析資料。
歸納本研究之發現為：
一、 順益台灣原住民博物館之主體性：（一）其為商業機構贊助之博物館，與部落結合特展將文化詮釋權讓渡與原住民部落之計畫主持人，展示規劃由計畫主持人（或部落）負責，博物館處理行政事物，其主體性何在？（二）順益台灣原住民博物館自詡為人類學博物館，其常設展示之再現，主以視覺美的觀點再現原住民文化。（三）同時，其為私立小型博物館，在空間小、人員少且資源有限之情況下，該如何定位永續經營？
二、 計畫主持人與部落結合模式：（一）博物館和部落關係疏淡，僅由計畫主持人從中穿針引線。（二）計畫主持人之弔詭性，從合作對象之文化背景分析發現，計畫主持人多具學術背景，然事實上，卻沒有考量其在部落之爭議與代表性。（三）文化與行政之衝突性，與部落結合之模式設定，和部落之對口不同，且經費與時間之壓力，造成結合之不穩定因子。
三、 部落結合特展之博物館教育意涵：（一）由博物館專業到原住民參與，（二）由原住民發聲到多元文化形塑，與部落結合特展除了讓原住民發聲外，必須與參觀者產生對話，彼此在尊重差異的情況下，重構新的認同。
根據研究發現，提出為順益台灣原住民博物館定位，文化詮釋權之再認識，特展之再規劃及開啟與觀眾對話之窗四層面之建議．
