目的:探討桑拿對阻力運動後生理恢復之影響。方法:12名大學男性甲組舉重隊選手(年齡,20.8 ± 1.4歲;身高,170.2 ± 7.2公分;體重,87.8 ± 15.2公斤)自願參加本重覆量數實驗設計之研究,且須於阻力運動誘發肌肉疲勞後,分別接受兩種15分鐘的實驗處理,包括桑拿處理(10分鐘90℃烤箱+5分鐘10℃冷水浴)與靜態處理(坐姿靜態休息15分鐘)。所有受試者皆於運動前、阻力運動後、處理後與24小時,檢測血乳酸、肌酸激酶、視覺模擬評分表值、跳躍高度、爆發力與腿肌力。結果:血乳酸、肌酸激酶、視覺模擬評分表值、爆發力與腿肌力,在兩種不同處理之間,皆未達顯著差異。但在跳躍高度分面,處理後時間點,桑拿處理跳躍高度顯著低於靜態處理(桑拿 vs. 靜態,35.8 ± 6.2 vs. 42.1 ± 9.4 公分,p < .05)。結論:不論是桑拿處理或靜態處理,皆無法改善阻力運動後生理的恢復。桑拿處理後不利於隨後之動態運動表現,如跳躍高度與爆發力,但不影響腿肌力(等長肌力)之靜態運動表現。
