  • 沙發衝浪(CouchSurfing)是近來來蓬勃發展的線上換宿組織,旅客得以透過官網平台徵詢觀光目的地之當地人提供旅宿接待。沙發衝浪的官網強調旅行做為文化交流的目的,展演與傳播世界一家的願景,將不同膚色、族群、性別的旅者與在地人之間的互動,和樂融融的美好畫面,藉由文字與影像不斷地再現傳播。然而,在官網歡樂溫情的單面化情緒展演背後,在沙發衝浪實境中,有更多觀光旅行的複雜情緒面向,官網上隱而不談的操弄、控管與治理的政治。
    本文結合多元的研究方法,包含沙發衝浪官網的論述分析,十位台灣遊歐沙發客的深度訪談,輔以台灣出版的三本分享沙發衝浪經驗的大眾書寫文本,同時也藉由筆者自身沙發客的經驗,相互參照,探討沙發衝浪觀光中的情緒政治。首先,分析沙發衝浪官網影像再現的情緒治理策略,及其世界一家、旅遊方式意識型態背後隱含的西方中心論述、想像,納入與排除。其次,探討官網論述對沙發客行為的規範與情緒的治理,並檢視其中的張力與矛盾。最後,本研究指出沙發衝浪中不對等的主客權力關係。提供免費住宿作為贈禮者的沙發主人,相對具有較高的空間與時間操作的權力;沙發客雖不用付費,卻常須取悅主人行使情緒勞動,配合主人而犧牲部份旅遊時間、自由與隱私。沙發客因為「免費住宿」而須付出更多的情緒勞動,是沙發衝浪重要的交換邏輯。
    此外,本研究也發現「人情」文化反映在台灣沙發客的評價留言傾向。台灣沙發客在留言時,基於「免費住宿」的「人情債」,對不滿的情緒與經驗常避而不談,只留下在官網上對沙發衝浪及主人的美言,也因此強化了沙發衝浪官網歡樂溫情與世界一家的單一情緒政治再現與展演。
