本研究主要是以向上國中體重控制班成員為主,探討體重過重者,如果在十週中,施以不同運動頻率之方式,是否會對過重學童在健康體適能要素項目中,而有所影響。
研究中以我國6-18歲學生BMI>22.8和22.2作為篩檢男性和女性是否體重過重的標準,結果有72位過重學童同意參與實驗,共分三個組別,包括(1)運動頻率二天組23位、(2)運動頻率四天組23位及(3)運動頻率六天組26位。運動強度是受試者感到有點喘又不會太喘,運動時間為45分鐘,所有受試者均接受前測及後測兩次健康體適能要素測量,所得結果以相依t考驗檢定組內在前測及後測之健康體適能是否有顯著差異。此外以獨立樣本單因子共變數分析各組間的差異,如有顯著不同再以薛費氏法做事後比較。結果發現如下:
(一)組內部分:運動頻率四天組及六天組之受試者,在肌耐力、身體質量指數、柔軟度、心肺耐力皆獲得改善(p<.05)。運動頻率二天組之受試者在柔軟度及心肺耐力項目達顯著差異,肌耐力和身體質量指數項目未達顯著差異。
(二)組間部分:運動頻率四天組及六天組之受試者對運動頻率二天組之受試者,在身體質量指數、肌耐力、柔軟度項目上明顯的改善程度優於運動頻率二天組之受試者(p<.05)。至於心肺耐力項目上三組間無顯著差異。運動頻率四天組及六天組之受試者在健康體適能項目則無顯著差異。
結論:對國中過重學童健康體適能提昇的最佳運動頻率是每週四天。
The research was mainly taking the weight control class members in Hsiang Shang Junior High School to be examinees to discuss whether it would influence items of health related physical fitness elements of the overweight students if executing ten weeks exercise with different exercise frequency.
In the research, the overweight standard was male: BMI>22.8, female: BMI>22.2 among students from six to eighteen years old. There were seventy-two students willing to join in the experiment. They were divided into three groups, including (1) exercise frequency: two days--twenty-three people; (2) exercise frequency: four days--twenty-three people; (3) exercise frequency: six days--twenty-six people. The exercise intensity was to the degree that the examinees felt a little pant but not too much, and the exercise duration was forty-five minutes. All the examinees accepted the measurement of elements of health-related physical fitness before and after the experiment. The outcome would be examined if there were distinguished differences on the health-related physical fitness before the experiment and after the experiment within groups according to paired t-test. Besides, analyzing the differences among groups with one-way ANCOVA. If there were noticeable diversity, the Scheffe method would be used to make comparisons afterward. The results were as follows.
(I) The Part Within Groups: The examinees of exercise frequency: four days and exercise frequency: six days all got improvement on muscle endurance, body mass index, flexibility, and cardiopulmonary endurance (p<0.5). The examinees of exercise frequency: two days had apparent differences on flexibility and cardiopulmonary endurance, but had no prominent diversity on muscle endurance, and body mass index.
(II) The Part Among Groups: The improving degree of examinees of exercise frequency: six days and exercise frequency: four days was obvious better than that of exercise frequency: two days on body mass index, muscle endurance, and flexibility (p<0.5). As for the cardiopulmonary endurance, the three groups had no distinct difference. The examinees of exercise frequency: four days and exercise frequency: six days had no apparent diversity on the items of health-related physical fitness.
Conclusion: The optimal exercise frequency on health related physical fitness for overweight junior high school student is four times a week.
