The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of the fatigue management health educational among cabin crews. A quasi-randomized experimental study was conducted in an Airline in Taiwan. There were 34 cabin crews in the experimental group and 36 cabin crews in the control group. The experimental group was given a fatigue management health education. The control group did not receive any intervention. Covariate analysis and Johnson-Neyman were used for statistical analysis.
The results of the study showed that fatigue management health education significantly increased the experimental group's fatigue management knowledge, attitude, practices, self-efficacy and decreased their fatigue strength. It means that fatigue management health education is effective. We suggest that: (1) This intervention could be applied to cabin crews and related workplace members for fatigue management; (2) The fatigue management health education could be applied many styles such as online study, movies or any teaching courses to strengthen the ability of fatigue management among cabin crews.
