In this study, the researcher introduced the main resource for volunteers from parents, trying through training volunteers from parents to assist parents of students in the learning guidance program. Since the formal curriculum does not include “Learning Attitude” and "Time Management" , volunteers from parents used their free time to the school to assist students to construct learning strategies once a week.
To that purpose, the researchers collected data include: Activities satisfaction survey from parents and student、execution situation survey from students、the result from “junior high school students learning and reading strategies scale”、 observation and leadership reflection record by researcher. After seven months of implementation, the results shows:
1. Implementation course of the instruction leadership program includes the needs assessment、goal formulation、program planning、implementation and evaluation of effectiveness control.
2. Most of the opinions by volunteer from parents to instruction leadership are positive affirmation.
3. Students participate in learning guidance program implementation of volunteer from parents in the cognitive, affective and skills are harvested.
The researchers also made recommendations for the Counseling Leader in Junior High School as a reference when leading volunteers from parents.
