在1990年之後電子音樂的普及與快速成長後,現今流行音樂中,電子舞曲的元素也日益增多,各類設備也如雨後春筍般的不斷被創造與研發,電音相關的音樂祭也在全世界廣泛的流行。反觀電吉他在兩千年後的銷售量不如市場預期。許多吉他大廠也面臨了財務上的狀況,或是電吉他廠商競爭者變多,也許是數位音樂的電子舞曲等影響或是新興的電子產品等。但幾乎可以確定的是學習電吉他的人,並沒有像以往那麼的熱絡了。本研究將以電音舞曲為出發點,考量電音在表演或錄音時所使用器材的方法,在結合電吉他的構造與彈奏的方式,探討如何以電吉他彈奏模式來達成電音舞曲在表演上之需求,進行研究並嘗試設計出結合電子舞曲的創新電吉他設計。
研究將先針對電音歷史與電音器材的使用、吉他這項樂器的歷史演進與現今電吉他的架構與種類,做出整理與了解,再以各類相關數位化之樂器設計、電吉他之造型與八位電音舞曲與吉他領域相關專家訪談的結果統整並取得相關研究結論。
遂以電音工作者演出時會遇到的問題與了解吉他手表演方式後,運用合成器、唱盤等電音設備結合電吉他原有琴身、琴頸架構上,將彈奏的姿勢、彈奏技巧等,做一個整合的設計,最後設計出以「表演」為導向的EDM電吉他設計為概念進行創作,設計出三款架構不同之樂器設計,使吉他彈奏者運用此介面將自己的彈奏技術應用於電音舞曲中,DJ工作者能以簡單、無痛的彈奏方式享受吉他的樂趣並創造出新的電音表演模式。
After the popularity and rapid growth of electronic music in 1990, electronic dance music elements in today's pop music are increasing day by day, all kinds of devices are springing up like mushrooms and are constantly being created and developed. The electronic music festivals related to music is also widely popular in the world. In contrast, the sales of electric guitars after 2000s are not as good as the market expected. Many of the main guitar companies are also facing financial difficulties, or there are more competitors for electric guitars, perhaps from influences such as electronic dance music in digital music or emerging electronic products. But it is almost certain that people who are learning electric guitar are not as enthusiastic as they used to be. The research will take electronic dance music as a starting point and consider electric equipment used in performance or recording. Combine with the structure of the electric guitar and the way of playing and discuss how to use the electric guitar playing mode to achieve electronic dance music on the performance requirements. And try to design a guitar design that base on innovation of electronic dance music.
The research will first sort out and understand the history of EDM, the manipulation of electronic music equipment, the historical evolution of guitar and the current structure and type of electric guitar. And then integrate with the design of various related digital Musical Instruments, the modeling of electric guitar and the results of expert interviews, and obtain relevant research conclusions.
Then figure out the EDM players performance problems when they performance and understand guitarist performance way. Further using the synthesizer, turntable and EDM equipment which combine the electric guitar structure, body and the neck, playing posture, playing skills and so on. Make an integrated design. Finally, design guided by "performance" EDM electric guitar design for creation of concepts, Layout 3 different kind of architecture of instrument design, make the guitarist using this interface will use their playing technique that applied to electronic dance music. DJ players can enjoy the guitar in a simple, painless way of playing fun and create a new mode of EDM performances.
