隨著網路成為全球企業交易的主要工具，電子商務的發展需要國際共通的標準。2001年起聯合國貿易促進與電子商務中心(UN/CEFACT)與美國結構化資訊標準推動組織(OASIS)合力推動了ebXML規範之國際標準。經數年的發展，UN/CEFACT制定的核心元件 (Core Component)和OASIS 規範的ebXML註冊儲存庫標準逐漸成為ebXML的發展重點。因此整合核心元件和ebXML註冊儲存庫為電子商務推動ebXML之重要探討議題。
本研究根據UN/CEFACT組織在2008年公佈之UN/CEFACT註冊實作需求規範(UN/CEFACT Registry Implementation Requirements Specification v1.3)為研究主軸，以ebXML註冊儲存庫開放原始碼技術，發展核心元件儲存庫系統，並做多版本核心元件之比較和核心元件演進規則之檢查。本研究對核心元件輸入至儲存庫的流程做分析，利用兩階段技術來處理Excel工作表的格式輸入。為提供UN/CEFACT組織及相關電子商務國際標準建立電子商務註冊儲存庫之參考，本研究並以UN/CEFACT組織目前所發佈之全部版本核心元件庫作為輸入驗證測試與量測分析，以改善後續規範修訂之儲存庫輸入流程。
