本研究以「徑向振動理論」的理論模式為基礎,利用流管模擬實驗了解靜壓,主動脈弓,及頻率之匹配,對徑向振動傳輸能量的影響;並研究流管張力變化跟徑向振動傳輸能量的關係。
本實驗以電磁鐵台座輸出脈衝波,及周期性脈衝波模擬心臟輸出;以乳膠管(Latex)及矽膠管(Tygon)模擬主動脈;使用水槽提供系統靜壓模擬動脈系統中的靜壓(舒張壓);拉長流管模擬在生理上的軸向伸長;並將其流管轉彎模擬主動脈弓。脈衝波輸入後由壓力轉換器量測壓力隨時間的變化經傅利葉頻譜分析後再與理論比較。
本研究證實了流管頻率的匹配對振動傳輸能量很重要;由模擬主動脈弓的實驗發現主動脈弓的幾何結構及靜壓變大,可以讓動脈系統獲得較大的徑向振動傳輸能量;此外我們也探討了外加張力對徑向振動傳輸能量的影響,發現除了頻率的匹配對振動傳輸能量很重要外,另外還必須考慮Ep(pressure–strain elastic modulus)的變化。
