  • 本實驗是利用電子順磁共振(Electron paramagnetic resonance)的方
    法研究 Al-doped KTiOPO4 晶體於溫度300K 經 r─ray 照射後產生的點
    缺陷(point defect)。溫度150K 時,我們可以看到一組六線超微細分
    裂,可由一個鋁核說明,以及雙線超微細分裂,可由磷核解釋。結果顯
    示 150K 時,g的主值是62.0027、2.0157和2.0464;鋁核的超6微細分裂
    主值是6.3、7.4和7.5G;磷核的超微細分裂主值是0.6、2.5、和2.6G 。
    根據分析,我們發現這個hole會在O(T)(titanyl oxygen)中的一個被捕獲
    其附近並伴隨著位於Ti4+上(或其附近)的鋁雜質。室溫時,未滲入鋁雜
    質的 KTiOPO4晶體中的oxygen hole center不穩定,加入鋁雜質有助於它
    的穩定。

    Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) has been used to study an
    oxygen hole center(o-) produced in Al-doped KTiOPO4 crystals r-
    irradiated at 300K. The EPR spectrum exhibited by this point
    defectcan be observed at temperatures 300-100K. A six line
    hype- rfine splittings ascribed to one 27Al nucleus and a
    doublet spl- itting ascribed to one 31P nucleas has been
    observed at 150K. At 150Kthe principal g values are
    2.0027,2.0157,and 2.0464 ; the principal values of the 27Al
    hyperfine splitting are 0.6, 2.5, and 2.6 G.The hole is trapped
    at one of the titanyl oxygens and locally associated with an
    Al3+ impurity located at or near a Ti4+ site. The Al impurity
    stabilizes the oxygen hole center which would become unstable
    at room temperature in undoped
