化學是一門物質的科學,也是實驗的科學,著重物質的認識與實驗的操作。由於升學主義及學校實驗設備的不足,使得實驗教學的實施和成效不甚理想。本研究的目的於開發可與實驗課程內容並行的教導式評量工具。本研究選定氧化還原反應以及與其相關的電解實驗為教材,並做為評量的研究工具。研究樣本取自師大附中,以及中山女中的高一或高二學生,並將其與少數化學資優生相比,分析一般學生對本教材的反應。樣本總數共一百六十六人。
本研究所使用的實驗器材乃採用簡易實驗的做法,如小點滴瓶、護貝卡、電池、鱷魚夾等,以期能達到可以直接在一般教室實施而且待以供給學生一人一套實驗器材。測試時,採用根據學生對於試題的反應(不同答案)給予不同的指示,亦即以所謂的「信封式教學方式」進行,以增進實驗教學的趣味性及挑戰性。 本研究的主要結果摘要如下:
一、根據前後測的作答結果的分析,學生在有關電解時的氧化還原反應的概念有顯著進步。
二、學生對於實作部分的開放性試題,其作能力較弱,會出現錯誤的概念。
三、根據實作的作答結果分析,學生在教導式實驗中所學習的概念有所進步,但也發現有些學生的錯誤概念以及有些已學習過的概念,其精熟度不足。
Chemistry is a material science.It is also an experimental science.It is a science which focus on the knowledge of various materials and the of experimental skills.Due to the high academic pressure from the entrance examinations and the lack of laboratory facilities in high school today, it is difficult to fully implement the practice of hands-on experiment education.The main purpose of this study is to develop guided learning materials for students on "Redox reaction" by performing a series of simplified experiments which goes with the experimental courses.This study uses the electrolysis experiment of Redox reaction as one of the teaching materials and the testing tool.The limited realm of spot sampling comes from Taipei Chung Sang Girl's Senior High School (北市中山女高),the Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University (臺師大附中), and gifted senior high school students interested in chemistry.The sample size is 166 students.
This learning material utilizes some simple facilities, such as small droppers, lamination films (護貝卡), battery, cramps etc.. The whole learning material includes hands-on experiments which can be carried out in any ordinary classroom.Students will each receive their own experiment kit and learn by performing these experiments by themselves.In order to increase the challenge and interest in experiment teaching, students are given different instructional envelops materials based on their different answers during the testing process.
The main results of this study are described as follows:
1.The results of pre-test and post-test show that the chemical concepts of students about electrolysis of redox reaction have improved significantly after the guided learning.
2.Students are weak in answering open-ended questions of practical problems, even coming up with the wrong concept.
3.The results of this study, show that most of the students improvement in the concept of instructional experiment.However, there are still misconceptive problems and unfamiliarity of the old concepts which had been learned in the past.
