本研究旨在探討高中生利用本研究設計之動物福利教材進行教學,探討課程實施前後對於動物園(以台北市立動物園為例)中動物福利觀念如何感受及回應,以及學生在實際參訪動物園後對動物的使用態度及對動物福利的認知是否有所改變,同時探索教師之教學實施及教材詮釋的過程。
研究中利用動物使用態度之前後測問卷、教材使用及學生實際參觀動物園之動物福利評鑑學習單做為資料蒐集來源及評量工具,配合研究者實際進入教材實施的教學現場,進行個案教師授課過程觀察後,再進一步分析此教材實施前後對於高中生的動物利用態度是否能有所提升。
The purpose of this study was to investigate how high school students perceived and responded to the concept of animal welfare in the zoo (taking Taipei Zoo as an example) after receiving the animal welfare teaching material designed in this study. Students' attitudes towards the use of animals and their understandings of animal welfare were assessed after their actual visit to the zoo site. Exploration was also on how the biology teacher interpreted and implemented the animal welfare teaching material. In this study, the questionnaire of pre-test and post-test of animal attitudes, the use of teaching materials, and the animal welfare evaluation work sheet for students’ actual visits to the zoo were used as the source of data collection and assessment tools. Analyses focused on whether high school students towards animal use can be improved after the implementation of this teaching material.
