The decline in cognitive ability of mild neurocognitive disorder doesn’t affect daily life ability, and it is usually ignored or misunderstood as aging progress. The mild neurocognitive disorder is an important sign of dementia in clinical medicine. This is the reason why maintaining cognitive ability and avoiding mild neurocognitive disorder transferring into dementia is vital issue. This study aims to understand the impact of community based leisure education on health promotion lifestyle and leisure attitude for people with mild neurocognitive disorder through an intervention program. The study is the one-group pretest posttest design. The volunteers of the study are from community care at Xinxhuang Dist., New Taipei City and Wenshan Dist., Taipei City. The volunteers need to test their cognitive ability which meets the requirement of potential mild neurocognitive disorder tested by Mini-mental state examination. There are 20 participants who are potential mild neurocognitive disorder after the cognitive exam. The participants accepted the 12 weeks leisure education intervention. The data is collected by health promotion lifestyle profile II and LAS and be analyzed by nonparametric statistics of dependent simples. According to statistical results, the change degree of health promotion lifestyle of participants is not significant, but the leisure attitude and the leisure cognitive condition are significant. In conclusion, leisure education are potentially beneficial for the intention of health promotion lifestyle, and on the other, the information and concept of leisure education are good for development and establishment of positive leisure attitude for people with mild neurocognitive disorder.
