本研究的目的,在於探討運動中的兩性平權.主要是採用"哲學反省法"反省運動中,習焉不察,視為理所當然的部份,並且透過身體觀的理論回顧,以及當代有關女性身體觀的代表性議題,來檢視女性身體觀的殊異性,進而探討女性在參與運動時,所可能面臨到的兩難問題處境,及在運動參與中的可能設限.本研究發現如下:一.女性在運動參與時,雖然因為參與機會的增加,政府立法,婦女運動,對健康與適能的重視,以及傳媒對女性運動的增幅報導,使得女性在近來逐漸進入運動領域,但是由於運動結構或制度的諸多拘限,女性仍然無法進入"真正的"運動場域之中.二.女性之運動參與亦受到女性之身體體覺本身之影響,而女性身體體覺實受制於以兩個因素:一是社會外加力量所造成的設限;二是女性自覺與自我創造的積極意義.而從參與運動的權力與多重性而言,女性應正視自我參與運動的經驗與肯定自我運動的能力.因此,本研究發現,藉由女性的身體觀來反省運動中的兩性平權,應該以透過對身體"差異尊重"的觀點上,才能真正的改善兩性之平權;從身體觀的反省也才能看到真正的平權,而不只是表面上的平等.

The purpose of this study was to search for the sex equality in sports through a thorough examination of female embodiment. By way of philosophical interpretation, this thesis critically reviewed some of current issues of female body discourses,then explored the similarities and differencies among them, and finally proposeda radical solution concerning the sex equality in sports. reaserch uncovered the following:1. Although the increasing of new opportunities to participate in sports, governmentlegislation, the women's movement, the health and fitness movement and increased mediacoverage of women's sports, there were still much room for sport structure orststem to work on when a woman wanted to take part in a "really just sports space". 2.Women's sports also suffered by effect from a feeling of body by herself.Meanwhile, it was effected by two main elements:one was the limits from the sociaty,another was the lake of the positive awareness of women's self-perception andself-renewal. To pursue the rights and varieties of participation in sports,womenshould face up their sports embodiment and affirm their ability in sports.For the reasons, an appropriate way to improve sex equality in sports is tointrospect the female's sports embodiment. And we should take a position with"discrepancy-respected" of the body. Then we can forward to the real equality.
