ABSTRACT
There are three purposes in this research.Ⅰ.Explore the main content of stressor and moderator variable. Ⅱ. Analyze the relations between each observed variable of the SMR model in meta-analysis. Ⅲ. The theory of structure equation modeling (SEM) testifies to the theory of SMR model.
In the first stage of exploring the main content of stressor and moderator variable, after reviewing the related theories, the researcher assumes that an individual will maintain equilibrium function by reducing negative stress through personality characteristics and social support when he accepts various stresses,
Between the relations of each observed variable, after the 116 individual research work, 429 comparison, and the correlation coefficient among 13 observed variable which is collected in meta-analysis, we can find all the correlation coefficient are significant. At least we can get a correlation matrix of 13 × 13, and the correlation matrix regards as the data entry in the testimony of the third stage modeling.
In the third stage, according to the model of SMR in building the model, the researcher adopts the data from second stage to verify the goodness of fit of the SMR Model. As a result we can find this research of the theoretical model has the fairly ideal goodness of fit in the probation of each goodness of fit. And the work stress, life stress, personality characteristics, social support, and physical and psychological health show the effectiveness in moderator function. On the other hand, both of personality characteristics and social support work for its moderator. And the result also supports the view and hypothesis of this research.
