台灣職棒運動發展至今，衍生出許多運動文化現象，對職棒運動的發展造成許多的衝擊和負面影響，因此本研究首先探討職棒運動文化的結構和具體內容，以此為基礎，將職棒運動文化中許多的運動文化現象，加以整理及做客觀的事實陳述，並以社會學的理論來作不同層面和角度的分析和解讀，作為職棒運動文化未來發展的參考，研究的結果得到以下幾點結論：
一、職棒運動文化是職棒運動和社會互動的結果，因此運動文化的結構和具體內容包含運動價值觀、運動規範與制度和運動商業化三部份。
二、職棒運動所衍生的運動文化現象，以職棒賭博事件、兩聯盟之間的競爭以及洋將問題對職棒運動的發展影響最大。
三、社會學理論對於職棒運動文化現象的分析和探討，可以提供想法、假設及討論來闡明職棒運動文化現象背後所發生的原因，以提供一套合乎原理原則的解釋，幫助我們理解這些現象。
四、職棒運動未來的發展，需要聯盟、球團、球員和球迷建立共識，共同努力，才能穩定且健全的發展。

Taiwanese professional baseball has been developed so far. It prompts many phenomenon of sport cultures. That causes impact and some negative influences. Hence the first of all, this study would be based on the structures of professional baseball culture and contents to intergrate and describe the truth of phenomenon of sport cultures objectively. It also analyzess and realizes for the reference of professional baseball about it's future development.
the following studies are the conclusions...
1. The result for professional baseball culture comes from the professional baseball and social interaction. So the structure and specific concept of sport cultures includes three area: sport value, sport regulations and systems and sport being commercialized.
2. Sport cultures phenomenon is developed from professional baseball. The most affected for professional baseball development are gambling, competition between two leagues and foreign players.
3. Theories of sociology for analyzing and studying professional baseball culture phenomenon could provide some ideas, assumptions and discussions about what reasons behinding professional baseball culture phenomenon . These may offer a series of principles to explain and help us understand the phenomenon.
4. The furture development for professional baseball needs to be built up commitment by leagues, teams, players and fans. That stables and complets the entire development.
