旅行與繪畫是最能激發筆者生命熱情的兩件事,藉由旅行讓人暫時擺脫習性的單調。經由接觸不同的風俗文化及場景,激發出高昂的情緒能量。旅行的美好回憶更能澱積為心靈滋養活化的泉源,而繪畫則是筆者對世界表述、溝通的重要手段。每每完成一幅作品後,總能讓心靈做一番徹底的滌盪洗滌,生命獲得重新啟發的酣暢淋漓感。這兩者之間若即若離、似有似無的關係激起筆者深入研究的動機,是以,以此為題完成此一論文。
筆者首先探究旅行的歷史,試著瞭解隨著交通工具的發展,不同時代旅行的方式與目的,及其對藝術發展的影響。筆者藉由美學理論的觀點,探討不同時期的社會文化與環境地貌對審美意識的影響。並透過研究文藝復興到當代藝術的幾位風景繪畫大師的創作理念與技巧,來辯證旅行與繪畫的關係。
此次「風景」的創作主題,則是立意於回顧筆者在不同季節裡孜孜行旅,忘我作畫,自我追尋的初衷;另一方面也藉此展現萬物周而復始,生生不息的景象。筆者將秉持這股熱情,在追尋美的藝術領域中繼續耕耘。

Travel and painting are two things that can most stimulate the enthusiasm of the author’s life. When people are traveling, they can temporarily get rid of the monotony of their daily life. Via exposure to different customs and culture scene, one’s spirit energy could be inspired. Good memories out of traveling deposit as a fountain that provide refreshment for mind rejuvenation. For me, painting is an important means of expression to and communication with the world. Often after the completion of a work, I feel my soul has been through some thorough washing, and my life gotten re-inspired in hearty sense. Traveling and painting, the ambiguousness and similarity between these two raise my motive to study in depth of the subject, and thus complete the thesis.
The author first explores the history of traveling to understand, with the devel-opment of transportation tools, the ways of traveling and its purpose differ in different times, and its impact on the development of art.
The author takes the perspective of aesthetic theory, to explore the inter-relationship between social culture, environmental landscape and aesthetic consciousness in different periods of time. Furthermore, the author tries to testify the dialectical relationship between traveling and painting through researching on the creative ideas and painting skills of some master landscape painters from Renaissance to contemporary art.
"Landscape" as the theme of the creation is conceptualized from the author’s reminiscence of the lonely traveling and self-indulging painting experience for the purpose of the author’s self-searching, and the reflection on the ever-evolving of things in the universe. In the future, I will uphold the enthusiasm in the pursuit of the art study, and continue to work hard in advancing my aesthetic comprehension.
