The purpose of this study is aimed to develop an English continued learning model based on Extensional Technology Acceptance Model and Expectation Confirmation Theory through using Voicetube website which was developed by REDIDEA CO.,LTD. for learning English. The key influence factors were found to describe the learning behavior intention, psychological characteristics, perception and satisfaction.
The subjects were sampled from VoiceTube users with two-step stratified sampling. The first step selected 294 samples, among them 266 were valid samples. They were used to verify the reliability and validity of questionnaire. The second step selected 571 samples among them 492 samples were valid.
The data collected from questionnaire were analyzed with descriptive statistics including partial least squares, confirmatory factor analysis, as well as structural equation modeling techniques. The research findings are as the followings:
1.The "continued learning intention" of learners of using VoiceTube to learn English was positively influenced by the five potential independent variables such as "content richness", "perceived ease of use", "confirmatory", "price value" and "enjoyment motivation". Two mediation variables including "perceived of usefulness" and "satisfaction" have significant effect to continued learning intention. In addition, "user actual behavior" was significantly affected by "continuous intention".
2.The goodness of fit of statistical model reached the standard value suggested by the experts and scholars. It showed that ETAM and ECT was suitable to construct learners’ continued learning model.
3.There is a significant difference between student group and non-student group on the regression path of confirming usefulness. The “student group” recognized using VoiceTube to learn English was better than expected, but “non-students group” didn’t.
