  • 網路以超乎想像的速度蓬勃發展,資料類型與數量愈趨多元廣泛。圖像是繼文字後最常被檢索的資料類型,網路使用者對於圖像的需求日增,但現有的網路圖像檢索系統之功能並無法完全滿足使用者之需求,使用者在選擇圖像資料時常感困擾。
    本研究採實證研究法,透過網路圖像使用者之圖像檢索任務的實施,以觀察、問卷、訪談等方式收集資料,以瞭解影響網路圖像使用者選擇圖像的相關判斷準則及其判斷線索研究結果發現受試者認為「主題性」是最重要的相關判斷準則,在檢索初期時,受試者會先依照圖像合乎主題的程度來初步過濾。但最終影響受試者選擇圖像的因素,多出自於個人主觀意識。本研究亦分析受試者之網路圖像檢索需求與檢索行為,其檢索需求多為專指性之主題,尤以人物類主題居多。目前國內網路圖像使用者研究並不多見,希望透過本研究能為圖像資訊組織與圖像檢索技術發展提供建議,以幫助網路圖像使用者能有效提昇其圖像檢索效益。
