本研究旨在運用社會認知理論(Social Cognitive Theory, SCT)的自我效能,導入護理人員高齡核心照護教育訓練課程,探討護理人員於高齡核心照護教育訓練課程的高齡照護知識、態度、技能之相關成效。
本研究以準實驗研究設計立意取樣於南部某醫學中心護理人員共90位(實驗組47人、對照組43人),研究工具以「高齡照護核心知識問卷、高齡照護核心態度量表、高齡照護核心技能量表」,在高齡照護核心教育訓練課程前及課程後再次評估高齡照護核心知識、態度、技能。
本研究重要結果歸納如下:
一、 研究對象在教育程度在大學四技較五專對高齡技能有顯著性差異。
二、 研究對象中護理進階1比護理進階2在高齡態度更為正向且有顯著性差異。
三、 研究對象有接受過高齡在職相關教育訓練的高齡態度顯著優於沒有接受過高齡在職相關教育訓練且有顯著性差異。
四、 研究發現實驗組高齡照護核心教育訓練課程介入後,護理人員在高齡照護知識及技能皆有顯著提升,惟高齡照護態度未達顯著。
五、 研究發現對照組中,在高齡照護知識前後測有達顯著差異,而在高齡照護態度及技能尚未達顯著性差異。
The purposes of this study are to introduce the self-efficacy of Social Cognitive Theory (SCT) to an elderly care education and training course for nursing staff and to explore the changes of nursing staff's elderly care knowledge, attitude and skills after the intervention of the training course.
In this study, a quasi-experimental design was employed. A total of 90 nurses (47 in the experimental group and 43 in the control group) in a medical center in southern Taiwan were sampled. A questionnaire which evaluates the core knowledge, attitudes, and skills of senior care before and after the core education and training courses was used as the research tool.
The important results of this research are found as follows:
1. Research subjects with four years education in university had better elderly care skills than those with two years technical education. The difference between the two is significant.
2. Research subjects in N1 level are more positive in elderly care attitude than in N2 level. The difference between the two is significant.
3. Research subjects received advanced on-the-job education are significantly better in elderly care attitude than those without any training.
4. The study found that the experimental group improve their elderly care knowledge and skills after the education intervention, but the change in attitude did not reach a significant level.
5. The study found that the control group also improved their elderly care knowledge in the post-test but there was no significant difference in the attitude and skills of elderly care.
