山羊是中國傳統祭祀宗教節日上必備的供品，在日常消費上主要供應肉用
或乳用。百年來台灣養羊業透過不同時期的政策導向；各地自然環境差異
；消費需求的改變，逐漸發展各區域不同形式的飼養方式與供需通路。
台灣養羊業的發展，可劃分為兩個時期：日據時期的50年與光復以來的50
年。日據時期對品種的引進及改良貢獻最大；光復之後除了繼續品種改良
外，在飼養型態上則走向專業及集約生產的方式。本文對畜牧業地理學中
家畜生產地理的驗證，透過本島各鄉鎮因不同自然條件及人文條件下，在
最近20年呈現的強度之估算，發現台灣有九大飼養區；並根據實察分析出
三種飼養類型，即放牧型、半放牧型及圈飼型。 再者，以生物地理學
中食物地理的供需通路為依據，探討山羊飼養的起源、傳播，以及羊肉、
羊乳運銷的通路與空間分佈。發現羊肉產銷約可分傳統式羊販購貨類型及
西式的肉品市場拍賣型；羊乳產銷方面，則可分為合作社經營型、乳品公
司契約型及社區羊乳戶自銷經營型等。

Goat is the necessary sacrifice of chinese traditional
religon worship,and it mostly provides it's meat and milk for
our daily consuming. The goatfarming of Taiwan has became
different feeding types and providing and needing way in
different areas gradually for hundread years, that is because of
theseveral diffent directions of policy, the diffences of
different natural enviroment, and changing of consuming
requirment. The development of goat farming in Taiwan can be
devided into two periods-- the fifty years of Japanese Period
and the fifty years of Taiwan recovering.Especially there is a
great devotion in species importation and improvmentduring
Japanese Period. And after Taiwan recovering, it is not only
continuallyimproves the species, but also becomes professional
and gethering feedingindustry.According to the different
conditions of nature and culture of thisisland, we made a
calculation about this apperance of last 20 years withthe theory
of livestock industry geography in Livestock Geography.
Besides,wealso research the origin and spread of goat,
thansfering andselling way and space of lamb and goat milk. We
found out that the productionand selling of lamb includes two
types, one is traditional way that the lamb seller buy goods
individually, another is western way which is the type of lamb
auction market. We also found out the production and selling of
goat milk are inculding three types,that are cooperation running
type, milk company contract type, and self-selling type of goat
milk farmer in community.
