本論文以3-氯丙基三甲氧基矽烷為耦合劑,與矽膠進行修飾反應,再與三級胺或三級等試劑反應而得含四級銨鹽之不同交換官能團的陰子層析劑。其中在矽膠基質上引入四級鏻鹽之方式,乃是單管柱層析法中的一項嶄新的嘗試。
本研究之目的為了解在相同的管柱支撐載體下,所引入的不同交換官能團之結構及物性對該系列陰離子交換劑在層析行為的影響。實驗的進行是採單一管柱離子層析系統(SCIC),配合電導偵檢計探討試樣陰離子的層析行為。研究包括:有機酸衝提劑對層析行為的探討、相同支撐載體中交換官能團對層析行為中之選擇性的差異、以及不同交換容量、管柱長度、衝提劑種類及離子強度對層析行為的影響。
實驗結果顯示:交換劑之疏水結構越大者則離子的滯留時間越長,且更明顯增加一些較極性化且較不易水合的陰離子之滯留時間;至於交換劑中心原子的種類、管柱長度及衝提劑種類,也影響交換劑對離子的選擇性。在本實驗中,以四級鏻鹽為交換中心的離子交換劑對陰離子有較佳的選擇性。
The "strong-base" quaternary ammonium and quaternary phosphoium anion-exchangers were synthesized and used on single-column ion chromatography. The exchangers were prepared by immobilizing 3-chloropropyltri-methoxysilane onto the surface of silica-gel, followed by reacting with a tertiary amine or a tertiary phosphine.
The goal of this work is to synthesize a quaternary phosphonium exchangesr which is suitable for ion chromatography. The prepartion, performance, and selectivity of this exchanger in anion chromatography are then evaluated and compared to those of three different quaternary ammonium ion-exchangers.
The separation of sample anions is affected by several factors such as the type of atom and alkyl group on the support, capacity and column length of the stationary phase, eluent pH and ionic strength, and the type of eluent.
