This work takes "camouflage" for concept core, and combines with 3D technology to become one new media art. Creatures camouflage themselves for self-protection, so they cannot be seen or identified easily. Two solo exhibitions "Hide and Seek" and "Dazzleland" use 3D virtual space to make optical illusion, so it is difficult to distinguish background from figures. Furthermore, connecting with "camouflage" to discuss the relationship between people and environment.
It will discuss development processes of camouflage in art, and changes in culture. Camouflage is one of survival skills for creatures. In World War I, one country uses the theme of camouflage to protect military weapons, equipment and soldiers. The misalignment of time and space in image creation and camouflage effect each other to make ambiguous. The invisibility and invisibility of camouflage make ambiguity. There are similarities in literary and art creation, because everyone has different explanations for ambiguous images.
There are many concepts of camouflage in art, the flattening and misplacing of space is one of the characteristics. Or displaying time misalignment in the work. Through the camouflage to make distinguishing or connecting between people and the environment. The work of "Hide and Seek" and "Dazzleland" is by points, lines, surfaces, and bodies to make the mapping of different spaces and misalignment to produce the cognitive effect of "camouflage", and the same is for the time dimension. The research found that camouflage is one action to enhance or degrade space dimension, meanwhile, artistic creation is doing the conversion between different dimensions, including the same dimension of the mapping, conversion, and different dimensions of the increasing and decreasing. This article regards "camouflage" as a phenomenon of time and space misalignment, and proposes a new program with time and space dimension misalignment for "camouflage", and provides a new viewing mode.
