  • 本研究使用台灣地區崙坪觀測臺自1988年1月至2000年12月的地磁場觀測資料,經過傅立葉轉換後以單位向量法﹙unit vector method﹚計算地磁場轉換函數﹙transfer functions﹚Au、Av、Bu及Bv值與可能偏差﹙likely error﹚值,並計算轉換函數向量橢圓的長、短軸長度與長軸的方向。
    轉換函數值會受到太陽照射的影響而產生季節變化,台灣地區會受到影響的是頻率低於2 cycles/hour﹙相當於週期高於30分鐘﹚的部份。Au值和Bu值都是春秋低而夏冬高,Av值是冬低夏高而Bv值是冬高夏低。此外,在太陽黑子活動的極小期,Au值的高頻部份會有比較明顯的變化產生。
    台灣地區在2、3、4及6 cycles/hour 四個頻率﹙週期相當於30、20、15及10分鐘﹚上會持續出現訊號,主要是因為附近地底電導率異常所產生。這四個頻率的轉換函數值,除了Au值會隨著時間慢慢上升,但在某些時段會突然下降然後再回到上升趨勢中之外,Av值、Bu值與Bv值長期來說大致呈水平趨勢。
