The purpose of this study is to investigate children's perspectives on their living environments and on the living environments of others. The study was conducted with children as the main subjects to investigate the perspectives that children would have on their own living environments and on the living environments of others. The researcher used photo interviews to study children's perspectives on their living environments. Children's perspectives on their own living environments include what they recognize, what they experience, what they express meaningfully, and what they feel. In addition, "home" was the most important environment when children shared their living environment, and the interaction with "others" and their feelings about "others" were the most important contents in children's viewpoints.
Children's perspectives on other people's living environments include experience combination, speculation, and identification. Children have three kinds of feelings about other people's living environments: interesting feelings, ordinary feelings, and disliked feelings. Since the view of other people's living environments is from the perspective of an observer who has a different understanding of pictures, emotions, and photographs from the perspective of the photographer, the way of analyzing and the viewpoints generated are different from the viewpoints of one's own living environments.
