  • 我們生活中的每一天都像自己書籍中某一章的新頁面。每個新冒險可以帶來新的可能,新的體驗、新的互動、新的思想、新的想法,並最終獲得新的回憶。
    每天創造的經驗都會變成回憶,等碰到某個類似的經驗時會透過記憶想到,提醒自己應該怎麼處理。這些回憶可以幫助我們每天學習和適應各種不同的狀況和環境,應用記憶來學習和辦別不同的語言,了解湯匙、叉子、刀子和筷子之間的區別,以及如何使用它們,或者是讀這句話。
    記憶和回憶能讓我們學會建立和管理關係。我們學習如何跟其他人互動與相處。我們也會了解自己對哪些顏色喜歡或討厭。每天的新經驗創造全新的回憶都會幫助我們了解自己。記憶與回憶對於每個人的個性養成很重要,因為會影響我們的成長。
    日常生活中的記憶和感覺可以通過創作的藝術來表達。在實際發生過程可能會覺得沒什麼特別,往往過了一段時間之後會發覺影響其實是很深的。童年時光的記憶漸漸消失,可是很多小時候的生活都是我們很珍貴的回憶。當然有些回憶可能會讓人想到便覺得痛苦,甚至希望可以忘記。至於對我們影響特別深刻的回憶可能在生活的每一天突然浮現,勾起我們對於事件記憶。
    本篇論文主要的內容是研究記憶和回憶對於人,特別是對藝術家的影響,包括其學習、觀察和創作。個人也會分享自身的經驗,以及所創作的作品和應用技巧。

    Every day is a new page to a chapter in our very own books. A new adventure, with new possibilities, new experiences, new interactions, new thoughts, new ideas, and at the end of the day, new memories.
    Memories created everyday are stored and recalled as a reminder of ways to handle each new experience. Storing and processing these memories help us to learn and adapt in various different situations and surroundings. We use our memory to learn different languages and recognize them, to know the difference between a spoon, fork, knife, and chopsticks, as well as how to use them, or even just reading this sentence.
    With the power of memory, we learn to build and manage relationships; we learn how to interact and treat other people. We learn what colors we adore, and what colors we despise. We learn about ourselves each and every day, each day leading up to experiences, and creating brand new memories. Memories are significant in shaping the identities of every individual, because each experience, each thought and memory stored influence our growth.
    The memories and the emotions felt in everyday life can be depicted and expressed through creative outlets. The experiences that may seem insignificant during the actual occurrence can actually be something of great impact in the future. A moment in childhood that passes in the blink of an eye, could be something remembered for years to come. Not only that, something that seems ordinary can become a memory to be cherished and reminisced. Vice versa, some memories can be of pain, and some memories we hope to eventually forget. memories that have greatly impacted us, can be forgotten and remembered suddenly later on in life.
    In this dissertation, the idea of how memory operates will be briefly explored. The way memory affects the people, in particular artists, learn, observe, and perceive objects and life will be discussed, as well as how memory affect the final result of the artworks. My own experiences will also be shared, as well as my techniques on why and how I create.
