  • 芍藥為常用中藥,有鎮靜、鎮痛、解痙、抗炎等作用。本研究以其六個藥
    理活性成分gallic acid、oxypaeoniflorin、albiflorin、
    paeoniflorin、benzoic acid、paeonol為指標,用高效能液相層析儀
    (HPLC)分析比較市售藥材的差異,並以藥效成分抽取量的增減,探討炮炙
    的科學意義。分析結果顯示,市售白芍藥材各成分抽取量分別為:
    gallic acid 6.37-20.61mg/g,oxypaeoniflorin 0.07-0.70mg/g,
    albiflorin 0.14-0.79mg/g,paeoniflorin 0.23-2.21mg/g,benzoic
    acid 0.18-4.14mg/g,paeonol 0-1.02mg/g;赤芍則為:gallic acid
    2.45-19.76mg/g,oxypaeoniflorin 0.03-0.57mg/g,albiflorin
    0.07-0.73mg/g,paeoniflorin 0.16-3.09mg/g,benzoic acid
    0-3.96mg/g,paeonol 0-9.44mg/g。大致上,白芍藥材直徑0.5~1.2cm之
    間者,其藥效成分含量較高;而赤芍則以條粗,味道刺鼻者為優;另外,
    表皮之藥效成分分佈,多於內心部分。芍藥用不同方法加工處理後各成分
    萃取量有很大變化。在白芍的各炮炙方法中,以酒蒸1小時的藥效成分萃
    出率增加16.72-20.50%,效果最好,而赤芍則以悶潤12小時,其藥效成分
    萃出率增加 10.48-14.75%最佳。利用毛細管電泳分離芍藥的六個指標成
    分,可得到良好結果,且分析時間遠較HPLC短,但要應用在藥材的分析,
    仍需再進一步的探討o

    Paeoniae Radix is a caommonly used chinese herbal drug, and is
    proved to have sedative, analgesic, and anti- infammatory
    effects. In this research, six compounds such as gallic acid,
    oxypaeoniflorin, albiflorin, paeoniflorin, benzoic acid, and
    paeonol were used as indexing reference for comparing
    differences of quality among commercial articles of Paeoniae
    Radix by means of high performance liquid chromatography,
    thereby the scientific significance of herbal processing was
    also investigated. Assay results showed that the contents of
    those bioactive components in the Bai-Shao(白芍) crude drug
    ranging from 6.37 to 20.61 mg/g for gallic acid, 0.07 to 0.70
    mg/g for oxypaeoniflorin, 0.14 to 0.79 mg/g for albiflorin,
    0.23 to 2.21 mg/g for paeoniflorin, 0.18 to 4.14 mg/g for
    benzoic acid, and 0 to 1.02 mg/g for paeonol. In the Chi-Shao(
    赤芍) crude drug, the contents of the six compounds range from
    2.45 to 19.76 mg/g for gallic acid, 0.03 to 0.57 mg/g for
    oxypaeoniflorin, 0.07 to 0.73 mg/g for albiflorin, 0.16 to 3.09
    mg/g for paeoniflorin, 0 to 3.96 mg/g for benzoic acid, 0 to
    9.44 mg/g for paeonol. The contents in Chi-Shao (赤芍) with
    corse, stronger odor or toward the outer cortex were found to
    be higher. After processing with different methods, Paeoniae
    Radix drug materials showed an increase in extraction yield.
    For Bai-Shao (白芍), of which the samples processed by steam
    with wine for 60 min had the highest increase of 16.72-20.50%
    in extraction yield. On the other hand, for Chi-Shao(赤芍), of
    which the samples processed by moistening with water for 12 hr
    had the highest increase of 10.48-14.75% in extraction yield.
    By the use of capillary electrophoretic method, a good
    separation result for gallic acid, oxypaeoniflorin, albiflorin,
    paeoniflorin, benzoic acid, and paeonol were also obtained.
    Further insight invesigation was still needed.
