  • 本研究的目的為探討「預防吸於教育計書」是否能促使國二學生有正確的菸害知識及不吸於的態度、減低吸於意向、增強拒絕同儕邀約吸菸的自我效能及減少吸菸率。
    本研究採「不相等實驗組控制組設計」,以華江中學國二自願就學班學生為對象。實驗組接受五小時的預防吸菸教學活動,二對照組均不接受教學。在教學介入前,三組接受前測以作為評量實驗結果的比較基礎,教學結束後進行後測以了解教學後的立即效果;十二週再實施後後測以追蹤教學介入的延宕效果。資料以單因子共變數分析及x2考驗,所得結果如下:
    1.預防吸菸教育計劃能增進實驗組學生的菸害認知,而且經過三個月後,介入的影響效果仍能持續。
    2.預防吸菸教育計畫未能顯著地改變實驗組學生不吸菸的態度,但在研究期間內僅有實驗組學生不吸菸的態度,但在研究期間內僅有實驗組的學生之吸菸態度平均得分持續增加。
    3.教學活動剛結束後,未能立即改善實驗組學生的不吸菸意向;間隔三個月後,實驗組學生的不吸菸意向不僅升高,且和對照組學生達顯著差異。
    4.教學活動剛結束時,能顯著增強實驗組學生的拒絕同儕壓力的自我效能;間隔三個月後,除了前測成績接近潢分的受試者外,教學介入對其他學生的影響仍有持續的效果。
    5.預防吸菸教育計畫對於改變學生的吸菸行為有正向的效果。
    6.接受預防吸菸教學的學生較喜歡且認為有幫助的課程內容是「拒絕技術的演練」、「建立積极的自我對話」及「擁有各種不同調適心情的方法」;學生較喜歡以學生為中心的教學方法。視聽媒體及學生學習手冊的運用可加強學生學習的印象。
    根據研究結果,預防吸菸教育計劃確實對實驗組學生的吸菸行為有減低及預防的效果,如欲進一步更瞭解預防吸菸教育計劃對國二學生的吸菸行為的影響,可以在本研究的基礎上,加以更多、更嚴謹的研究設計進行實驗。

    The main purpose of this study was to explore the effect of a smoking prevention program for second grade junior high school students. The topics of this research was focused on increasing smoking knowledge, promoting no-smoking attitude, reducing smoking intention and enhancing self-efficacy for refusing smoking pressure from peers.
    A non-equivalent control group design was used in this study. We selected five classes of second grade students from Hua-Giang and Da-Li junior high school as the samples. Two classes of students of Hua-Giang were given five sessions of smoking prevention curriculum as the treatment group. The other classes were served as control conditions.
    All of the tested classes were randomly assigned to treatment and control condition. The effect of intervention was assessed by questionnaires immediately after five sessions and follow-up evaluation in the next three months.
    The collected data was analyzed by one-way analysis of covariance and x2 test. Some interesting results are shown as following:
    1. The smoking prevention program can increase students' smoking knowledge and the intervention effect still retains through three months.
    2. Although the smoking prevention program has no significant effect in changing students' no-smoking attitude, the average score of no-smoking attitude increased only int the treatment group.
    3. The intervention does not affect the no-smoking intention of the treatment group immediately. However, its effectiveness gets higher significance than the other groups in the followed up period.
    4.There is significant effect in improving the self-efficacy of treatment group in refusing peer's pressure immediately after the intervention. After three months, the effect still retains except for those students that got nearly full scores in the pretest.
    5. The smoking prevention program has positive effect in lessening treatment group students'smoking behavior.
    6.Students participated in the instructional activities of smoking prevention appreciated the student-centered instruction. The audio-visual materials and students' learning manual used in the instruction could reinforce the impression of learning.
    The smoking prevention intervention indeed has promising effect in improving students' smoking behavior. Based on the study, modification with more rigor design and procedures can prospect more influence on junior high school students for smoking prevention.
