本研究旨在探討資優班學生與普通班學生在逆境商數及社會興趣上之表現情形;並針對資優生進行不同背景變項之探究,以瞭解其在逆境商數量表與社會興趣量表上之表現差異。研究者並分析逆境商數與社會興趣之相關情形,與社會興趣對逆境商數的預測效力。本研究採取問卷調查法,研究對象為臺北市國二學生與高二學生共388名,研究工具為「逆境商數量表」與「社會興趣量表」,資料分析採用t考驗、皮爾森積差相關與簡單迴歸分析,研究結果如后:
一、不論是在逆境商數量表或社會興趣量表,資優生與普通班學生之得分皆未達顯著差異。
二、國中資優生之逆境商數顯著高於高中資優班學生,資優男學生之逆境商數顯著高於資優女學生,不同資優班類別之資優生在逆境商數上之表現未達顯著差異。
三、不同背景變項之資優生,在社會興趣量表上的表現皆未達顯著差異。
四、資優生逆境商數與社會興趣達到顯著相關,但普通班學生在逆境商數與社會興趣之相關卻沒有達到顯著水準。
五、資優生的社會興趣可預測逆境商數之表現。
The purpose of the study was to compare the differences between gifted students and regular students both in Adversity Quotient and Social Interest. For gifted students, different background variables were considered in order to examine their effects on Adversity Quotient and Social Interest. Besides, this research explores the correlation between Adversity Quotient and Social Interest. The explanation of Social Interest to Adversity Quotient was also investigated. Questionnaire survey was adopted in this study. The samples consisted of 388 students including gifted and regular students from 8th and 11th grades in Taipei. The instruments were “Adversity Quotient Scale” and “Social Interest Scale”. The collected data were analyzed by t-test, Pearson’s correlation and simple regression. The findings were as follows.
1.No significant difference was shown between gifted students and regular students in Adversity Quotient and Social Interest.
2.The scores on Adversity Quotient of junior high school gifted students were higher than those in senior high. Scores on male gifted were higher than female. There was no differentiation between diverse gifted classes.
3.No difference was found in gifted students with different background variables in Social Interest.
4.For the gifted, Adversity Quotient is correlated with Social Interest. However, there was no significant correlation for regular students.
5.The performance on Social Interest of gifted students can predict the performance on Adversity Quotient.
