Financial education is becoming an important issue in the world. The financial organizations and researchers have claimed that parents and teachers should help children developing a positive financial attitude in their early childhood. Previous studies on financial research, it usually use traditional assessment (questionnaire) to assess student’s financial attitude. However, students easily get tired or feel bored with this method. Moreover, students will expect themselves to be accepted or respected in the social communities so that they may make the untruthful answers. For these resons ,we can't measure the students’ real attitude.
To solve the problems above, the aim of this research is to develop a financial attitude stealth assessment and provide the diagnostic report immediately for elementary students. Teachers and students can take advantage of the financial attitude diagnostic report to adjust methodology content and do self-learning. At the final step, we’ll examine the assessment’s validity and reliability.
The results show that: (a) the reliability(Cronbachα) of financial attitude stealth assessment is .712 ; (b) the validity of stealth assessment are: 1. The inter-diagnostic accuracy rate is 86.94% ; 2. The outer- diagnostic accuracy rate which working out through different methods are 90.77% and 85.16% separately; (c) the system satisfaction get the average score: 4.57.
