The purpose of this study is to explores whether college students' social self-efficacy has a mediating effect between parental attachment and interpersonal relationship satisfaction, and whether college students with different background variables have significant differences in parental attachment, social self-efficacy, and interpersonal relationship satisfaction. The researcher used a questionnaire survey to obtain 469 valid questionnaires. The research tools included the Relationships Structures Questionnaire-Chinese, the Chinese Version of the PSSE, the Chinese Version of the UCLA Loneliness Scale (Version 3), and basic information. The data were statistically analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling analysis. The research results found that: (1) There was no gender difference in college students' parental attachment relationships, social self-efficacy, and interpersonal relationship satisfaction; (2) There was no grade difference in college students' parental attachment relationships and interpersonal relationship satisfaction, but there was significant difference in college students' social self-efficacy in different year of college, and; (3) There was a significant correlation among college students' parental attachment relationships, social self-efficacy, and interpersonal relationship satisfaction; (4) Social self-efficacy had no mediating effect between college students' parental attachment anxiety and interpersonal relationship satisfaction; (5) Social self-efficacy had a partial mediating effect between college students' parental attachment avoidance and interpersonal relationship satisfaction. In the end, based on the research findings above, the researcher made discussions with the finding, and offer some suggestions for practical work and future research references.
