本研究旨在瞭解更年期婦女自我認知及關係發展對其自我情緒調節的影響，並探討不同境遇婦女的情緒調節歷程。本研究經文獻探討，發展半結構式「訪談大綱」進行研究，由研究者原有的人際關係網中，採立意取樣方式擇取四位45至55歲的更年期婦女進行訪談。本研究結論有：
1. 四位受訪者認為更年期階段外觀老化是自然老化，情緒的產生非完全因為更年期，且有明顯記憶力衰退現象；
2. 更年期婦女的自我與其關係的發展，有相當的關聯性；
3. 更年期婦女情緒的引發因素可分為自我心理、境遇或生命事件和日常生活等三因素；
4. 良好/不良關係發展，使更年期婦女對自我持一肯定正面/否定負面的態度，同時對其情緒調節有加分/減分的效果。並根據研究結果提出建議。

Abstract
The purpose of this research is trying to understand the influence that the self-cognition of menopausal women and the development of relation on the emotional regulation, and discuss the process of emotional regulation to the women of different circumstances. This research begins with semi-structure type "interview outline" through literature review. Choosing four 45-55-year-old menopausal women from the researcher’s prime interpersonal relationship, the researcher carry on this interview by purposeful sampling.The conclusions of the research are as follows:
1. four interviewees think appearance's being aging is the phenomenon of "the nature is aging", the generation of psychological symptoms is not really because of menopause. Besides, the women do have obvious memory loss;
2. menopausal women’s self and the development of relation, have a certain connection;
3. the factors which cause the menopausal women's mood swings include self mental state, circumstances or life affairs and daily life;
4. a good/bad relation, make menopausal women hold positive/negative attitudes, and have added/reductive effects. Researcher has some suggestions for future studies and menopausal women with similar situations are recommend according to this research.
