  • 本研究的目的,在探討新加坡中學技術課程與教科書的現況及發展。研究方法是先以文獻分析,瞭解新加坡的國家社會背景、中學技術課程的形成、沿革、現況、發展與決策組織、課程大綱、課程與教科書發展模式及其發展與評鑑‥‥‥等情形;再透過半結構化的問題設計,實地訪問新加坡課程規畫署 (CPD) 和課程發展署 (CDIS),以更深入瞭解現況。結果發現:(1)新加坡中學技術課程,注重分流,歷經多次改革,成為中一、二必修,中三、四選修,且為學生升學選考科目。普通技術課程組 (normal technical) 上工藝課 (TS),特別(special)、快捷 (express) 及普通學術課程組 (normal academic)上設計與科技 (D&T),有助於因材施教。(2)中學技術課程大綱由直屬教育部之課程規畫署 (CPD) 負責設計、審查、和修改;配合國家教育政策的教科書則由課程發展署 (CDIS) 負責出版,兩者皆為新加坡教育部之一級單位,為專責性常設機構,有助於教科用書與教學大綱的持續發展。(3)新加坡中學技術課程大綱由課程規畫署 (CPD)提請課程發展委員會 (CDC) 批准,並由該署之技術課專門督察 (TESI) 詳細規畫大綱發展計畫及委員會 (TESC),透過各方的意見、及實地實驗回饋,建構出課程大綱。發展過程分工合作,有利於編寫出高品質的教學大綱。(4)課程發展署 (CDIS) 中的中學技術教育計畫小組 (STEP) 負責設計、撰寫、試用、和出版技術課程教科書,並透過:教材發展、推廣和實施、和研究與發展等三階段,來擴大教與學的效果。小組成員多來自基層,有助於實施時的落實。(5)透過前置作業、原則確立、結合目標、交互作用、回饋檢討等程序,完成新加坡中學技術課程發展模式。可做為我國生活科技課程教學大綱與教科用書發展模式之參考。

    The purpose of the study was to explore the status and development of Curriculum and Textbooks of Technology Educationin Singapore. Through problem designing, visiting CDP, CDIS, and secondary school teachers in Singapore, understand more clearly the national and social background, the reasons, evolution, status, developing organization, syllabus, the module of curriculum and textbooks of the Secondary School Technology Education. As the result of the study, the following conclusions were made: (1) the Secondary School Technology Education divied to Technici Study for Normal Technical course students, and Design & Technology for Special, Express, and Normal Academic course students. (2) Belong to Ministry of Education, CPD is responsible for the Secondary School Technology Education Syllabus designing, reviewing and revising. CDIS is in charge of the textbooks of publishing. (3) CPD prepare Secondary School Technology Education Syllabus ( STES) proposals submitted to Curriculum Development Committee (CDC) . Technology Education Special Inspectors draw a STES plan and Technology Education Syllabus Committee (TESC) . TESC revise syllabus, if obtain feedback from teachers, CDIS,Institue of Education (IE) , etc. (4) Secondary Technology Education Project (STEP) belong to CDIS, is respondsible fordesigning, writing, testing, and publishing the textbooks of Technici Education. And through material developing, testing and practicing, and researching and developing stages, reinforce the effects of teaching and learning. (5) Through establish fundamental general principles, join specific aims, interact and Evaluation and review procedures, accomplished drawing the module of the development of Secondary Technical Education Curriculum.
