虛擬製作系統是一項新興的電視節目開發科技,自1990年起虛擬製作系統逐漸朝向商業化發展以來,這項具有即時處理與整合資訊呈現與傳送功能的技術,一直是電視節目製作者所引頸企盼的,理論上它應該是獨領風騷且備受青睞;然而事實並不盡然,這項嶄新的藝術與技術的創新,卻因為專業度與複雜度的增加,使其在發展和推廣上受到阻礙,僅能以一個緩步成長的趨勢在產業界發展,究竟虛擬製作系統的明天在哪裡?它會成為昨日黃花,還是明日之星?
本研究認為此項創新發展的內涵與趨勢,有深入瞭解的必要性,基於上述理念,本研究是以質性研究為取向,並以訪談法進行本案,其主要目的旨在:1.分析其發展與技術內涵,2. 分析虛擬製作系統之關鍵技術,3. 探討此關鍵技術在我國之應用狀況。期望藉由對此科技的深入分析,以作為未來國內推動虛擬製作系統發展的參考。
Virtual studio system is a new technology of TV industry. This technology has the function of real-time processing and information integration which TV producers are always expecting since 1990. Theoretically, it is unique and it supposed to be the most popular technology to be applied on TV production, but actually the fact is not what we expect. The development of this brand new technology encounters many difficulties due to it requires more professional competency. This could cause the development of virtual studio system to be very slow. As our observation of virtual studio system, where is the future of it? Is virtual studio going to be a flash or a future star? It is necessary to access deeper understanding of the trend of virtual studio system in TV production and to understand the meaning of it.
Between 2002-2005, researcher conducted qualitative research in Taiwan virtual production industry. The purpose of this study is to analysis the kernel technology of virtual studio system, to evaluate its crucial technology in content production, and to explore its application status in Taiwan.
