本研究的目的旨在設計輔助國小學生統計圖表學習之CAI教學軟體,並進行實證性研究,以檢測學童使用此教學軟體後其統計概念理解之成效。研究者基於四個統計思維階層,「描述資料」、「組織及簡化資料」、「呈現資料」、「分析和解讀資料」,並探究相關文獻所指之統計圖表學習難處,作為軟體設計之理念架構及參考,實際建置出一個輔助國小學童進行統計圖表學習之CAI統計軟體。
研究以125位四年級學生作為實驗對象,讓他們使用所設計出的CAI統計軟體進行統計圖表的學習。結果顯示,整體而言,使用此軟體確能增進學童在統計上的學習成效,尤其是折線圖的部份,成效更為顯著,此外,學生對於以多媒體的方式進行數學學習,持正向態度。
此研究結果期能提供老師做為統計圖表教學上的參考。
The purpose of this study was to design a CAI software for learning statistic and examined the learning effect of the CAI software for elementary students. Based on four statistical thinking, i.e., data describing, data organizing and simplifying, data presenting, and data analyzing and interpreting, and the relevant literature of statistical graph learning, this study designed and developed a CAI software for statistics learning.
The participants were 125 fourth graders learning the concept of statistical graph. The results showed this CAI software could promote the conceptual learning of statistical graph, and there was particularly significant effect in frequency polygon. Furthermore, students’ attitudes toward CAI software of statistic were positive.
The findings above are helpful for designing software for statistic and are able to provide insights for statistics teaching.
