本研究目的在探討女子手球教練及選手從事沙灘手球運動之發展情形，及轉戰沙灘手球訓練所遭遇之困境。以質性研究方式進行，透過半結構式訪談進行資料蒐集分析，獲致以下結果：（一）沙灘手球運動建立在手球運動的基礎之上，兩者具有高共通性，故手球教練及選手從事沙灘手球運動具有優勢；代表隊參與國際賽事時，受限身高不利慢攻戰術進行，發揮速度特質，主打快攻戰術；在國內女子隊伍參賽部分，多採保守的慢攻戰術；防守戰術設計則以替補區位置為首要考量。（二）比賽服裝、選手就業、訓練場地不便、比賽成績對升學無實質幫助等問題，皆成為影響手球選手參與沙灘手球運動之因素；教練及裁判研習不足，相關知能與國際脫軌；未與學校體育結合及規劃培訓，以致選手銜接斷層；缺乏舉辦賽事及結合相關活動，形成阻礙發展困境。建議：配合基層體育教育推廣，增加運動人口；聘請具實務師資分享經驗，舉辦專業教練裁判研習及國際邀請賽；爭取中央機關增列經費，透過政策專案，擬定培訓計畫，提供沙灘手球重點發展；配合地方活動舉辦體驗營或育樂營加強推廣；與企業結盟改善或利用相關場館，提供運動新據點。

The aim of the present study mainly explored the development of how female handball coaches and athletes devoted themselves to the beach handball games and the dilemma which they faced in the process of the training. A qualitative analysis was adopted, and the data were collected and analyzed by semi-structured interview. The results of the present study were shown as follows. First, the training of beach handball was based on that of handball and they had a lot in common, so the handball coaches and athletes took more advantages in the beach handball games. In national games, the Taiwanese female handball players tended to take a slow break strategy; however, in international games, in order to avoid the disadvantage of the players’ short stature, they would adopt more counter-attack shooting to unfold the advantage of their speed. The defense strategy was to make good use of the space of the substitution area. Second, what affected handball players to attend beech handball games could be summed up as the following factors: the game costume, the players’ present jobs, the unavailability of the professional courts, and the final places of the games. Since Taiwanese handball coaches and referees did not timely update the latest information of the beach handball rules and training, the training direction was divergent from the real international games. Furthermore, the nurture of handball players was not smoothly connected to the school education, so that the number of the players was not sufficient. The lack of the activities combined with the games resulted in the development dilemma. The suggestions were provided as follows: first, beach handball can be promoted in all the schools in order to increase the number of the beach handball players. Second, invite more experienced coaches to share their experience. Third, hold more professional coach conferences and international invitational games. Fourth, in order to development of beach handball well, fund should be added by the government be means of the special policy and player nurture projects. Fifth, hold some camps which combine with the local activities to promote beach handball. Finally, the government can look for some enterprise to help maintain the professional training beach handball courts and provide the public to exercise.
