  • 資訊視覺化經由電腦與網際網路以多樣的視覺化形式,協助人類處理暴增的資訊量,互動性地視覺表現讓大眾對複雜抽象的數據資訊提高認知以了解。資訊視覺化的應用已經滲透入人們的生活,不論是來自數位科技對視覺感官的愉悅與刺激,或是資訊內容議題的管理與藝術性美學的展現,基於彰顯資訊以展示或說服的原則下,轉而影響到傳播需求與社會型態。

    網際網路與新媒體科技的普及,加上運算裝置性能的迅速提升,「資訊」與「視覺化」的本質亦產生結構變遷,現今資訊視覺化之研究已發展出三個方向,分別為以處理視覺認知訊息為主的設計導向、以輔助分析巨量數據資料的電腦科學導向、以及滿足使用者人為需求服務的智能導向。本研究認為數位化資訊的本質著重於展示性,目前以資訊視覺化為資訊設計之平台與展示活動應用的案例眾多,在與使用者互動與視覺化表現的認知訴求與傳播溝通上,互動與資訊視覺化的相互關連值得探究,而其表現策略的創意思考層面亦缺乏實質論述。

    本研究從質性研究角度切入,以文件分析國內外融合資訊視覺化技術與方法之重要展示活動案例,架構出資訊視覺化於互動展示之概念原則;再以深度訪談資訊視覺化領域之專家學者,探討以資訊視覺化觀點呈現之互動展示表現策略,具備何種創意思考與未來發展。研究結果發現資訊視覺化應用於互動展示雖為不可抗之趨勢,但國內並未普遍重視此一技術之重要性。資訊視覺化之價值在於融合巨量資訊、線上即時互動、多媒體整合與議題關注,其表現策略之創新著重多元的應用以引起視覺吸引,提高互動展示的趣悅與知識性,進而帶動商機。唯國內軟體硬體之整合、具備資訊分析與視覺化技術能力之人才培育,與國外相較仍具備發展空間。本文期許以質性研究,讓文件與個人經驗產生對話,建構出資訊視覺化於互動展示之策略應用與建議。

    Information visualization via computer and internet assists people to deal with booming information in interactive visual representation with various visualized forms. It can penetrate cognition of abstract data in communities. Information visualization has permeated through the people’s lives. Not only joy and excitement of vision comes from digital technology Digital technology can also involve in management of information issues and present aesthetics. Based on manifest important information to display or convince viewers, to visualize information bases on principle of displaying, and has effected on interaction of the mass media and social pattern.
    With popularizing of Internet and new media technology and the rapid development, the essence of “information” and “visualization” have been changed their structure. Studies on information visualization nowadays have developed into three different directions. They are design-oriented management of visual information, computer science help with analyzing mass data, and service-oriented intelligence to satisfy users. My study believes that essence of digitized information emphasizes on presentation. There are many examples of information visualization applied for platform of information design and exhibition. On cognition appeals of interacting with users and information-communication of visualization, these connections are worthy of studying and there is a lack of actual discuss about its strategies on level of creative thinking
    This research is in way qualitative research. I analysis documents of important cases of exposition connected with technology and information visualization exposition to analyze and structurize concepts of information visualization in exhibition activity. And I also do in-depth interview with experts who specialize in fields of information visualization. I try to figure out the strategies of information visualization that presents inactive exposition and what creative thinking and future development. It comes out information visualization in exhibition is inevitable trend. But, we do not emphasize on this field in Taiwan generally. To integrate massive information, real-time interaction on-line, multi-media integration and issue-attention are values of information visualization. Its innovational strategy of presentation emphasizes on multi-application to catch user’s eyes and enhances interest and intellect, then to drives the business. However, compared with other countries, there is much more space to breed person who has talent of analyzing information and technology of visualization. I wish this research can bring out dialogue between documents and personal experience to structurize visualization of strategy and advice in inactive exposition with qualitative research.
