十八世紀極具代表性的小提琴家及作曲家羅卡泰里(Pietro Locatelli, 1695-1764),在當時得到「地震」的稱號,他的作品《小提琴的藝術,作品三》(L’arte del violin, op.3),不管以技術以及規模層面來看,都凌駕在當時的小提琴作品之上。《小提琴的藝術,作品三》不僅展現出小提琴技巧的突破,其中的隨想曲更被後人推斷為帕格尼尼(Nicolo Paganini, 1782-1840)寫作二十四首隨想曲的範本。
如何做到正確的巴洛克音樂風格,筆者以當代具代表性的三部教學鉅作-傑米尼亞尼(Francesco Geminiani, 1687-1762)的《小提琴演奏的藝術》(The Art of Playing on the Violin)、雷歐波德.莫札特(Leopold Mozart, 1719-1787)的《小提琴演奏的基本原理》(A Treatise on the Fundamental Principles of Violin Playing)以及塔悌尼(Giuseppe Tartini, 1690-1760)的《裝飾音論著》(Traité des Agréments de la musique),與《小提琴的藝術,作品三》來做探討比較。本論文以此為方向,探討十八世紀義大利小提琴音樂發展、風格以及提琴音樂詮釋與技術之開發,並研究更深入的小提琴藝術以及音樂上的內涵。
